Knee problems have forced me to cancel two shows. Both shows are for good causes, so I hope you can still attend. The first is the Holiday Galleria in Wichita, going on now through October 6. This show is sponsored by the Junior League, which provides funding for several community projects. The second is Sugar Mound Arts and Crafts Festival, October 12-13 in Mound City, Kansas. Proceeds from this show help fund scholarships for high school seniors headed to college. There are many wonderful crafters at these locations.
This weekend was going to see the introduction of a new style of apron, what I call my "boutique" apron, as pictured. This apron is a more modern choice for those who do not like the old-fashioned look featured in most of my items. The buttons used still will be vintage, but the fabric and style have a more up-to-date look. I will go ahead and start releasing these aprons online, so start looking for them in the Clasic and Heritage Collections!
