After many requests, I have finally caught up enough with my regular apron stock to try a side-tie cobbler apron. Usually there is someone else at a show who sews these aprons and I am more than happy to direct customers to that booth. However, I have noticed lately that many of those ladies who make this type of apron are retiring, so I am trying to fill in the gap.
I have started with just two aprons to see how it goes. The pattern I used is from the 1970s, and is supposed to be one-size-fits-all. However, I am going to work on adjusting this pattern for extra large to plus sizes -- we ladies come in all shapes and sizes! Please bear with me while I try to make that happen.
The vintage fabrics used for the first two aprons are both floral prints, one in red and one in navy. Vintage laces highlight the apron fronts.
Please let me know what you think about this style of apron, and if you would like to see more!
