We went to the Phoneix area recently for a long weekend out of the cold and snow. Of course, wherever I travel, I am always looking for great vintage fabric and linens to make more aprons! This trip was successful, with several purchases of both making me have to expand my suitcase on the way home.

Besides the warmth in the winter, we always love to come to this area to eat the wonderful Mexican food. We have one favorite restaurant in particular, and went to eat there before seeing our relatives! They have wonderful chili rellenos, which is the food by which we judge all Mexican food restaurants. The picture shows their grande burrito, which our daughter describes as the "massive burrito." So good!

Okay, now that our tummies were full in a very good way, we could shop more. While I came away with several doilies and a good selection of fabric, I found this area is great if you are looking for vintage tablecloths and aprons. There were so many wonderful choices, it was difficult to narrow my selections.
