Coffee, anyone? This vintage feed sack made into an apron suggests trying a meeting over coffee with the sales representative for Calf Manna. The Albers company also has other feed options for your beef and dairy cattle and your horses, according to the information printed on the sack. This apron was created from another apron that had been cut from the original feed sack and the edges were finished with serge -- it was a good idea that just didn't work out and didn't look that nice. The serge was removed, which also unfortunately removed some of the lettering. You can however, still infer the words "Have A Cup of Coffee on Us."
Another vintage feed sack was used to make sides for the apron. While it is the same weight of the main material, it is a darker color. (See the next to last photo.) The seams have been finished so no fraying will occur. Vintage red bias tape is used for the neck and waist ties. This is an authentic vintage sack, and not a reproduction. Cold water wash and line dry are recommended to prevent further fading of the design.
The apron waist is 31 1/2 inches.
The bodice is 13 1/2 inches.
The length is 31 1/2 inches from the top center to the hemline.
The ties are 29 inches.
This apron fits sizes XL to 1X.
